One of Canada’s foremost mirror artists, Norm Magnusson uses mirrors to create unique artistic expressions. He was initially motivated to pursue this art form during a trip to California in 1985. Inspired by a close friend, he decided to learn glass cutting and polishing.
Norm has concentrated on converting ordinary mirror into designs that symbolize our spirit and heritage: from fishing to agriculture, from nature to recreation.
His works have found their way to at least 25 countries and have been commissioned on numerous occasions.
Norm grew up in the Icelandic fishing settlement of Magnusville, on the shores of Lake Winnipeg. He currently resides in Sandy Hook, Manitoba and is a proud member of the WAVE Artist Tour
